We encourage getting your student assessed to evaluate and plan their educational path. We understand the struggle you and your students may have to tackle learning loss in today’s environment. Not every student learns or takes a tests the same, which is why we have always taken an individual approach.
Test Preparation
Amp Education offers preparation for entrance exams for higher education and private school placement. This may include PSAT, SAT, ACT, ISEE, or SSAT.
Former students at Amp Education have demonstrated the success of our instruction by their improved test scores or the passing of academic tests.

Test Types
All assessments are given by degreed professionals.
Some tests require advanced degrees in order to evaluate learning outcomes.
Simple Evaluation
Informative testing that is done in a manner to ease the student, this is a basic assessment of performance using CA state standards. Primarily used by the tutors to ascertain what level to start instruction.
Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement
The KTEA is a research-based assessment based on national averages. Individually administered as an evaluation of a student’s current academic performance in reading, math, and writing. It is ideal as a stand-alone screener of basic academic skills.
Gates-MacGinitie
A research based reading test using state and national reading standards. These exams were created to understand the current capabilities and level of a student’s reading ability. Subject areas include decoding, phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Custom Solutions
Student counselors may suggest a specific test or evaluation. This will be discussed with the parent at that time. If you are looking for an evaluation that you do not see here, please speak with the office.

How To Register
Due to the individualized nature of these assessments an appointment is required. Test Preparation services should be scheduled far in advance of the test itself. Call us to discuss what works best for your student.

Please schedule enough time for your students session. Some assessments can be administered through a secure online site, others must be in person. Details will be discussed by one of our professionals.
